What it is

Self-hosted manga usually takes four programs. Uchiyomi is one container, with a reader made for a phone at night that keeps working offline.

What I built

  1. A webtoon-first reader: vertical or paged, right to left, double-page spreads.
  2. About 1,400 Mihon and Tachiyomi extensions, installable in one click.
  3. Offline downloads, push notifications for new chapters, and OPDS for reader apps.
  4. Accounts with argon2id, TOTP and audit logs; progress sync to AniList and MyAnimeList.

Where it is now

Public since July 2026, with outside contributors and security reports from outside researchers, all fixed.
